 "Steve is the best mechanic around hands down. He is our family mechanic and has worked on all three of our family's cars with 5 star service every time. Today I just picked up my moms 97 Jeep Wrangler "Rosie". Rosie was Idling loud like a crazy possessed lawnmower. I called Steve and he said bring it in the very next morning. The exhaust manifold was leaking from broken bolts and was in Pretty bad shape. I just picked it up and drove it home and it drives better than it ever has!! My moms beloved Rosie is all better now. " We moved up her to Sonora about two years ago from the Valley leaving behind the only shop I took my vehicles to because I never felt like I was being fed crap. The fixed what was wrong at a fair price so I was a little apprehensive about taking my truck somewhere new that is until I spoke with Steve. You can feel when someone is honest and pretty much right away I was totally comfortable leaving my truck in his care. He repaired the issue within a few hours for a fair price. "We went camping for Spring Break in Yosemite. On the day we were supposed to leave our fuel pump went out (Saturday). Come to find out all the mechanics within 2 hours are closed EVERY weekend and the nearest tow truck was 2 hours away. I called Steve's on Saturday to see if he could help us. He was willing to help us on his day off but we couldn't get there in time since we were an hour away and couldn't find a tow truck. On Monday morning we were able to get there and he was very busy. Not only did he fit us in, he had a mechanic drive an hour away to get a part we needed just so we could get back home that day. His establishment is very clean and welcoming. His staff was very kind and I appreciate all their help in getting our car fixed quickly and getting us home safely. I definitely recommend his shop."  Maria F.

"I would definitely recommend Steve's to everyone. Not only is staff super friendly but Steve has gone over and beyond my expectations each time. Recently, he found out that the service on my car( which had to do with my head gasket) would be covered by a warranty I didn't even know I had. So instead of me paying hundreds to thousands for his shop to fix,which he knew i didnt have being a single mom,I was able to get the work done for free elsewhere thanks to Steve.  "After my trusted mechanic of 10yrs. retired, I needed to establish a trusting relationship with a new mechanic. I talked to Steve about charging my ac. that was just blowing warm air and a few other concerns. He fixed everything on the day I dropped my car off and repaired a few other problems he discovered, I gave him prior permission to do that, and was very happy with the work he did. I will definitly call on him the next time I have a problem or just want him to give my car a wellness check. "I had a great experience at Steve's. I needed an alternator installed late on a Friday afternoon in a rain storm. Steve stayed late to get my job done and save me from having to rent a car to get through the weekend. He was friendly, fast and only charged a regular rate for the job (so I gave him a nice tip!) I wish he was closer to where I live because I would take all my car work to him. Great Service!"  Tom H.

 "I took my 2007 Xterra to Steve's automotive repair. He was referred to us since we are new in town we hadn't found a mechanic we could trust yet. Unfortunately when it rains it pours. I'd never had any issues with my vehicle in the past. I had intake valve issues and he got me right back on the road. Then my timing belt was loose and he got me right back on the road. Now I threw a rod and it went right through the oil pan. Steve is very honest and felt very bad for everything happening all at once. He helped me more than he knows. He did recommend I get another vehicle cuz after I put my engine in he said the transmission will probably go next. I really appreciated the honesty. My vehicle is so perfect for me and my family and the same vehicle is more expensive than the fix, I'm currently having a rebuilt engine put in. Can't wait to have my car back on the road.
